LOTD: Guerlain Ecrin 6 Couleurs Precious Eyeshadows 93 Rue De Passy

I used this palette for work today.

Guerlain Ecrin 6 Couleurs Precious Eyeshadows in 93 Rue De Passy

Extremely harmonious colors

Very 'neat' packaging

Very sturdy metal casing, quite heavy really!

Left to right, top to bottom: black, beige, pink beige, shimmery frosty light pink, medium dark brown, dark brown

Personally, I think this palette requires practice to wear. I am not very good with palettes that contain earthy tones, so I need to figure out how to mix the shades and practise according to create looks that I want. As I wore something sweet to work today, I decided to go with super natural look.

Really REALLY natural makeup

I wore double eyelid tape on my right eye to correct my uneven double eyelids, therefore you made see the sticker on my eyelid (I will never buy that brand's tape again - poor quality!)

I didn't want the eyeshadow to be obvious at all. I just wanted deep set looking eyes. So I first lined my upper water line with brown pencil eye liner, then my lower lash line with the same liner. After that, using a small blending brush, I applied the beige pink to the hollows of my eyes, blending inwards. Then I applied the medium dark brown over the beige pink, using the same technique. I finished off with blending white eyeliner under my brow bow and inner corners of my eyes. I used natural false eyelashes. I loved the result! I looked like I wasn't wearing eyeshadow, but my eyes looked defined and bigger!

I wore this dress. As I didn't have time to use tripod and stuff, I just used my MacBook to take photos of my dress... in 2 parts.

Super Korean-feel kind of dress. I adore it ^^

I am so glad you all like this look! Initially I was thinking this look might be too simple to be considered a LOTD ^^

  9. Hi Skyblueinsf,
I got the lace dress from this shop that sells Korean inspired clothing called "Bubble Tees". If you want to know where the branches are, I could ask the sales for you =)

    Reene,
I totally understand how you feel! I stared at the palette quite long too, not sure how to use. I will have to explore the different looks with this palette soon!
